President Muhammadu Buhari has arrived in Abuja after a five-day trip to New York for the 73rd session of the United Nations General Assembly (UNGA).
He arrived alongside his wife at the Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport in Abuja in the wee hours of Sunday morning,
The president had a busy schedule in New York where he delivered what was described as Nigeria’s national statement at the UNGA.
Buhari called on the global body to step up efforts in tackling the many challenges confronting the world, and also to help in combating global corruption.
On the sidelines of the General Assembly, President Buhari met with the Nigerian community in the US where he took a swipe at Nigerian elites for abetting the mismanagement of the nation.
