Daily Trust reports that a masked security man bearing AK- 47 was sighted this morning at the main entrance of the Senate chamber where the mace was stolen two weeks ago.
It’s a similar scene across all entry points to the National Assembly with policemen mounting surveillance.
IGP Idris had snubbed the Senate’s invitation last week to travel with President Muhammadu Buhari to Bauchi State, prompting Senate President Bukola Saraki to set a deadline for today, May, 2, 2018.
