BlackFaceNaija Explains Why He’s Dropped His Own ‘African Queen’

BlackFaceNaija continues with his one-sided feud with former bandmate 2Baba Idibia, and even went as far as dropping his ow version of African Queen.

Speaking with Max FM, the singer ranted about the quality of the songs that are making waves in recent times, shading Tiwa Savage over her lyrics in her collaborative, Shotan, with Zlatan.

He said:

“What I noticed over the years is that the lyrics became flimsy and some people lost their sense of belonging, sense of who they are. Because I started hearing some ladies do some song like not really going well with how you want to hear a lady talk like. When a lady is telling you somethings that really don’t count ‘s’o ma gbe mi lo’le, will you gbadun my waist.’ I just think the ladies and the women should come up with reasonable lyrics.”

Then he spoke about the defunct Plantashun Boiz, his own African Queen single–how new acts are remaking the legendary single without consulting with him, a song he claimed he wrote.
