Recently, Beyoncé and JAY-Z surprised their fans with their joint album titled Everything Is Love, and as though that was not shocking enough, their single, Apeshit, off same album was shot in the Louvre, underscoring the couple’s appreciation of art.
Now, they are taking things up a notch; this time, according to Italian newspaper Il Messaggero, the singer is interested in filming at the Colosseum in Rome.
The newspaper reports that Bey has already submitted a request to do so, and although it’s unclear what she wants to film, the paper adds that her request was originally dated for earlier this month, on July 7 to July 8. And Complex adds that those were same days Bey and JAY would have been in Rome for their On the Run II Tour.
The Italian paper adds that Bey’s initial request was rejected because an Italian scientist had already booked the venue, plus the request was too short notice for such a “complicated place.” However, the singer reportedly has submitted a new request, which is currently under review.
If this works out, fans will be super glad.
