BBC to Air David Bowie’s Documentary, “The First Five Years”, Next Year

BBC reportedly will be airing a new David Bowie documentary titled, “David Bowie: The First Five Years.”

According to Pitchfork, the network will air the documentary on BBC Two in 2019 to mark the 50th anniversary of the release of late legendary singer’s “Space Oddity.”

The film will focus on Bowie prior to the Ziggy Stardust era, plus it is the third documentary in the trilogy created by BBC Studios Production, following David Bowie: Five Years in 2013 and David Bowie: The Last Five Years in 2017.

Also, BBC Four will air Bowie’s headlining performance at the 2000 Glastonbury Festival.
