Bundesliga powerhouse Bayern Munich put three second-half goals past French champions Paris Saint-Germain in a 3-1 win in a preseason friendly in Klagenfurt, Austria.
PSG rested a lot of their stars including their World Cup winners, although they started Barcelona target Adrien Rabiot, who refused to serve as a reserve for the French squad.
Bayern were also without their German internationals, despite the national team’s early exit in Russia.
The Parisians were the better side in the first half and took the lead with a 31st-minute goal by American Timothy Weah, the 18-year-old son of Liberian legend George Weah.
Bayern however came back stronger in the second half and struck three times in 18 minutes after Spaniard Javier Martinez opened the scoring with a header past Gianluigi Buffon, the Italian legend who joined PSG this summer.
Embattled Portuguese midfielder Renato Sanchez and 17-year-old Dutch striker Joshua Zirkzee added the other two, with Buffon already taken off.
