Spanish giants Barcelona have made a new bid for Chelsea midfielder Willian as they look to bolster their squad for the coming season.
Chelsea reportedly had to fend off a £60million Barcelona bid for Willian, though the Blues look vulnerable with uncertainty still surrounding who will be in charge of the team this season following Antonio Conte’s exit.
The West London club have already knocked back a £50m offer from the Nou Camp for the Brazil playmaker, and a second offer has been lodged, raised to £55m cash and a further £5m in add-ons.
Meanwhile, Barca’s arch-rivals Real Madrid are preparing a £150million bid to take Eden Hazard from Chelsea.
Real have identified Hazard as the key target in their search for a new Galactico after selling Cristiano Ronaldo to Juventus for £100m.
And the European champions believe they can lure the Belgium captain, who has two years left on his Chelsea contract, to Spain.
Hazard spoke this week of the ‘special’ nature of the Real Madrid shirt and how they are ‘a club who make you dream’.
And although the 27-year-old says he is ‘good’ at Chelsea, he has often spoken of ambitions of playing at the Bernabeu.
Chelsea have been unable to tie him to a new £300,000-per-week contract and last month Hazard challenged the club to make signings before he would commit.
