Yinka Ayefele and Governor Ajimobi have made peace after the singer’s music house was demolished by the Oyo State Government.
In case you missed how it all started: last week, the gospel singer took to his Instagram to reveal that his music house, which housed his radio station and studio, was demolished by the Oyo State Government. And this comes after reports surfaced that he dragged the government to court over the property.
Ayefele shared photos of the destroyed property with the caption that says: “Oyo state government did at last…my pain, my sweat..so help me God.”
Days later, the demolition exercise was condemned by the National Broadcasting Commission (NBC).
Last night, both singer and the governor met at Olubadan’s 90th birthday party in Ibadan. While they seemingly have quashed their beef, it is unclear if the government will make necessary reparation.
