A warrant has been issued for the arrest of a man suspected to be involved in the murder of Florida rapper XXXTentacion.
Recall that two days after the SAD! rapper got shot outside a motorcycle dealearship, 22-year-old Dedrick Devonshay Williams of Pompano Beach, Florida, was arrested in connection with the murder of the rapper. And the New York Times later obtained an affidavit confirming that Williams and an accomplice followed the rapper into the motorcycle dealership less than an hour before murdering him.
At the time, police made it clear that there were still multiple suspects who had not yet been taken into custody. Then, on June 27, the Broward Sheriff’s Office identified another person of interest named Robert Allen, who was seen at the motorcycle shop where the rapper got shot, shortly before the murder took place.
And so, yesterday, the sheriff’s office revealed that a warrant for Allen’s arrest was issued on June 28. The warrant is not related to XXXTentacion’s homicide investigation. Allen was reportedly on probation for possessing PVP and carrying a concealed firearm, but he owes the state of Florida over $3,000 and has allegedly failed to make an effort to find a job.
We can’t wait to see how this pans out.
