Ariana Grande has announced her plans to take a break from Twitter and Instagram.
The God is a Woman singer announced this on Twitter yesterday after a fan shared a screenshot from the singer’s Snapchat account.
To confirm that she really plans on taking a break, she disabled the comments on her Instagram account. And this comes just a day after her fiancé Pete Davidson quit social media after calling the internet an “evil place” and adding that social media platforms no longer make him feel good.
“No there’s nothing wrong. No nothing happened. No there’s nothing cryptic about anything,” he wrote. “I just don’t wanna be on Instagram anymore. Or on any social media platform. The internet is an evil place and it doesn’t make me feel good. Why should I spend any time on negative energy when my real life is fucking lit. The fact that I even have to say this proves my point. I love you all and I’m sure I’ll be back at some point.”
Will they return soon? We wait.
