Aquaman Writer Confirms That The Film is Kid-Friendly

Fans can’t wait for Aquaman to get here, and now the screenwriter has confirmed that children can also watch the film.

According to Variety, the writer David Leslie Johnson-McGoldrick is extremely excited about the upcoming superhero film set for theatrical release in December, adding that it is the first movie he can bring his children to see.

“This is my first movie that my kids can watch and I want to take them,” said David Leslie Johnson-McGoldrick in an interview with Variety. Adding that the director James Wan “knows how to connect with the audience instinctively. In horror movies, you’re rooting for the monster, but in The Conjuring you’re rooting for Ed and Lorraine. You’re pulling for them.”

This comes barely two weeks after a new trailer of the much-anticipation superhero film was released online so that fans can take a brand new look at DC Comics’ King of Atlantis, especially the scene which shows the character squaring off against Black Manta.

Aquaman will set the stage for the future of DC Comics cinematic universe, being the first follow up of the Justice League movie. And many fans are worried because the superhero team-up raked in disappointing reviews.

The success of this movie will determine if a sequel will be made.

We can’t wait!
