Anambra Rep Slams Nnamdi Kanu’s Call for Election Boycott in S/East

Rep Anayo Nnebe (PDP-Anambra), has dismissed the call by leader of the proscribed Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB), Nnamdi Kanu, on the people of the South East to boycott the 2019 general elections.

Nnebe, who represents Awka North/South Constituency in the House of Representatives, made clear the leaders and stakeholders in the region would strategise ahead of the polls.

“2019 election is far ahead and the truth of the matter is that the elders would be talking to our young men to see the need for us to actually get involved in the election,” he said.

Kanu, in one of his many messages from his new base in Israel, had reiterated his call on Ndigbo to boycott the 2019 general elections.
