Adidas may be facing stiff penalties after their employee suffered a horrific injury at Kanye West‘s Calabasas office.
According to TMZ, the employee was working on Kanye’s new Yeezy design two months ago when a massive 3D printer fell over onto his foot. The media house adds that the injury was so severe the employee had to be airlifted to a hospital, and ever since, the company has been playing ‘hush hush’, in an attempt to keep it under wraps.
However, this has been brought to the attention of Occupational Safety and Health Association (OSHA), which is currently investigating the company.
OSHA reportedly is “now trying to determine if there were any workplace violations that caused the accident. If they find any willful or repeated safety violations, Adidas could face fines up to $129k per violation.”
It is unclear if this will also financially affect Kanye in whose office the accident happened.
We can’t wait to see how this pans, especially since the wounded employee has now hired a lawyer.
