Manchester City winger Raheem Sterling splashed out £15,000 on a guard dog to protect his family at their £2million mansion in Cheshire.
The England international opted for a black and brown rottweiler called Okan to be both his pet and protector.
During Halloween, Sterling, 23, posted an image of Okan with the caption: “How are you spending Halloween? Big Okan is trick or treating for Halloween”
He also tagged ChaperoneK9 in the post – the company which specialises in expert training for personal and family protection and from whom Sterling bought Okan, according to the Mirror.
Sterling can well afford Okan as he recently signed a new five-year deal at Manchester City this week worth a staggering £300,000 per week.
Footballers in England have had a series of break-ins at their homes over the past months, but with Big Okan…Sterling can sleep easy.
