2019: Atiku Charges Supporters on Good Conduct

Former Vice President and presidential aspirant of the Peoples Democratic Party, Atiku Abubakar has continued to sound the right note ahead of the 2019 general elections.

The Turakin Adamawa – who promised that 40 per cent of his cabinet would be allotted to women and youths – on Sunday called on his supporters across the country to conduct themselves in a respectful manner.

Taking to his official Twitter handle, Atiku told his supporters to ignore insults, falsehoods, and threats but remain focused on the task of rebuilding Nigeria.

He also asked them not to engage in any war of words but stated their views with facts.

Atiku had criticised President Muhammadu Buhari and the All Progressives Congress (APC) government for the economic status of the nation.

Alleging that Nigeria has become the world headquarters for “extreme poverty”, he stressed that the way out was to empower women and youths in the country through job creation which is what he does best.
