Kemi Adetiba and Ali Baba have both expressed fear after news surfaced last night that the United States Department of Homeland Security passed a new regulation banning electronic devices on flight to the country.
According to Fox News, the new law came into effect following a threat, prompting Homeland Security to ban electronic devices from 13 countries, including Egypt, United Arab Emirates and Saudi Arabia. This new law comes barely a week after Trump’s second immigration ban was stopped by the U.S. courts.
“Let’s pay Nigeria is not on the list,” the filmmaker said, and Ali Baba added voice to the fear: “Hope we can check them in… I can’t do without my gadgets ooo,” the legendary comedian added.
The new law which has already taken effect, as reported by Fox News, says, “Cellular phones and medical devices are exempt from the ban but laptops, tablets, cameras, DVD players, and gaming devices may only be transported via checked luggage.”
While we wait for the full list of countries affected by the ban, check out Adetiba/Ali Baba posts:
