We learnt that Nigerian Celebrities did not turn up for OJB Jezreel’s funeral over the weekend. Well; most celebrities, according to singer African China.

Last month, the entertainment industry was thrown into mourning with the news of singer and producer, OJB Jezreel’s death. Social media was awash with tributes as stars and upcoming acts wrote touching notes, chronicled their relationship and consoled the family.

Not long after, the family of the deceased singer revealed that many of those friends never showed up to pay condolence visits to his family. Now, singer African China has lent credence to that story.

In a new interview with HipTV, the ‘Mr President’ crooner said he was “shocked and disappointed” that stars who had kind things to say about the late singer never showed up.

“A whole lot of artistes had to send their managers,” he said, adding that if it were a manager who passed on, his counterparts would pay him the last respect he deserves.
